Just a look at some of my inspirations, and a Highlight/Tribute to the people that are helping me with my master plan to REPLACE AND DESTROY all boring media.
At UNC TV this summer I had a blast interning here between projects. I was working on the WWII Documentary which is going to be released soon commercially.
So I was obnoxiously taking pictures of this DJ at a local event and he walks up to me and asks what I do…Skip ahead 4 months and we get an explosion of beats, rhymes, and video. Plus the graphics I create for him and his shows. This is one of those by the way.

If there was ever a crash course for web design, I’d say I went through it on this newspaper. My bosslady Monique Velasquez put me to work on this thing posting, moving, editing, organizing, writing, resizing, photoshoping…pretty much everything that you could think of in regards to their web presence. Not to mention the paper is in Spanish.
Speaking of Monique, I also help her Production Company Velasquez Media out on a variety of things ranging from the Durham County Tv Show, Government meetings, and editing…and the ocasional 20 minute walk to pick up a newspaper.
If you’re ever in Durham, check out the museum of Life and Science. I do photography for them as well. Check out their site, you may see some of my stuff if you’re lucky.
Have you ever had a bad dream that you awake into a huge library with books crowding all around you? Then no matter what you still can’t seem escape the grasp of the many shelves and walls. Well whoever said that was a bad thing? Nice Price Books on Broad St. in Durham has walls upon walls of books, and a very nice collection of delicious LP’s and Movies. So I’d personally like to thank owner Barry Blanchette for putting me on to greatness and Feeding my addictions to Real, Pure entertainment. Thanks again Barry, and the whole Nice Price staff for Representing Indie to the fullest and being so damn awesome.
Who the heck is this Guy?? That my freinds is Jason McMerty. He put me on to the innovative side of Media. A really meticulous fellow but he gave me a chance. For that I am grateful.

And this is Nicole. She is another one of my teachers at Elon. She always has something new to show me as most filmakers do. She made a few films, one of which is still twisting my brain to this day.
And this guy is Chris Donohue. Excellent writer. I learned a lot from this guy. And he snapped me out of my slacker state of mind.
A short film for the 50/50 film festival in Elon NC that I helped work on. 50 hours to create a short film for any given prompt. Filmed in the rain and blistering cold, this was a fun start to anyone’s weekend starting around 7 am. It could have been worse ,but considering we were up until around 4 am planning this, it made the whole “waking up” thing a little bit harder. I owe you for this one Max.
